गोरखपुर में चार दिन तक लगेगा कबड्डी का कुंभ
Lucknow: A four-day Kabaddi Kumbh will be held in Gorakhpur in the memory of Brahmalin Mahant Avaidyanath Ji Maharaj. 12 renowned teams of the country will participate in this event which will run from 1st to 4th December. The winning team will be awarded Rs 2 lakh, the runner-up will be awarded Rs 1 lakh, a certificate and a trophy. Apart from this, two teams will be awarded Rs 50,000 each. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be present at the closing ceremony of the All India Invitation Prize Money Men's Kabaddi Competition. The sixth edition of the All India Invitation Prize Money Men's Kabaddi Competition will be held in the memory of Brahmalin Mahant Avaidyanath from 1st to 4th December at the Regional Stadium in Gorakhpur under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Sports Department. The competition has been going on continuously since 2018. The sixth edition will be inaugurated on 1st December by the Sports and Youth Welfare Minister of the State Government, Girish Chand Yadav. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will award the players. Sports Director Dr. RP Singh said that players from 12 prestigious teams of the country will participate in this competition. Many international players will also participate in it. This year teams from Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Western Command Army Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bharat Petroleum Mumbai, SSB New Delhi, Northeast Railway Gorakhpur, Army Red New Delhi, Army Green New Delhi will participate. In the year 2023-24, the host UP team was the winner. Runner-up- JD Academy New Delhi and third place- Red Army New Delhi and Haryana team. Brahmalin Mahant Avaidyanath Ji Maharaj First All India Invitation Prize Money Men's Kabaddi Competition was organized by Sports Department Uttar Pradesh from 1 to 4 December 2018 and the second edition was held from 1 to 4 December 2019. The third edition was held in 2021, the fourth edition in 2022, the fifth edition in 2023.
लखनऊ: ब्रह्मलीन महंत अवैद्यनाथ जी महाराज की स्मृति में गोरखपुर में चार दिन तक कबड्डी का कुंभ लगेगा। एक से चार दिसंबर तक चलने वाले इस आयोजन में देश की नामचीन 12 टीमें हिस्सा लेंगी। विजेता टीम को पुरस्कार स्वरूप दो लाख रुपये, उपविजेता को एक लाख रुपये पुरस्कार, प्रशस्ति पत्र व ट्रॉफी प्रदान की जाएगी। इसके अलावा दो टीमों को 50-50 हजार रुपये पुरस्कार दिए जाएंगे। अखिल भारतीय आमंत्रण प्राइजमनी पुरुष कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता के समापन समारोह में मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ मौजूद रहेंगे।
उत्तर प्रदेश खेल विभाग के तत्वावधान में गोरखपुर के रीजनल स्टेडियम में पहली से चार दिसंबर तक ब्रह्मलीन महंत अवैद्यनाथ की स्मृति में अखिल भारतीय आमंत्रण प्राइजमनी पुरुष कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता का छठवां संस्करण होगा। प्रतियोगिता 2018 से अनवरत चल रही है। छठवें संस्करण का शुभारंभ पहली दिसंबर को प्रदेश सरकार के खेल व युवा कल्याण मंत्री गिरीश चंद यादव करेंगे। बुधवार को मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ खिलाड़ियों को पुरस्कृत करेंगे।
खेल निदेशक डॉ. आरपी सिंह ने बताया कि इस प्रतियोगिता में देश की 12 प्रतिष्ठित टीमों के खिलाड़ी शामिल होंगे। इसमें कई अंतरराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी भी हिस्सा लेंगे। इस वर्ष राजस्थान, आंध्र प्रदेश, हरियाणा, वेस्टन कमांड आर्मी दिल्ली, पंजाब, चंडीगढ़, उत्तर प्रदेश, भारत पेट्रोलियम मुंबई, एसएसबी नई दिल्ली, पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे गोरखपुर, आर्मी रेड नई दिल्ली, आर्मी ग्रीन नई दिल्ली की टीमें हिस्सा लेंगी। वर्ष 2023-24 में मेजबान यूपी की टीम विजेता रही। उप विजेता- जेडी एकेडमी नई दिल्ली तथा तृतीय स्थान- रेड आर्मी नई दिल्ली व हरियाणा की टीम थी।
खेल विभाग उत्तर प्रदेश द्वारा ब्रह्मलीन महंत अवैद्यनाथ जी महाराज प्रथम अखिल भारतीय आमंत्रण प्राइजमनी पुरुष कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन एक से चार दिसंबर 2018 तथा द्वितीय आयोजन एक से चार दिसंबर 2019 तक हुआ था। तीसरा संस्करण 2021, चौथा संस्करण 2022, पांचवां संस्करण 2023 में हुआ था।
