कैलाश मकवाना को मध्य प्रदेश का नया डीजीपी बनाया गया
Bhopal: Kailash Makwana will be the new Director General of Police of Madhya Pradesh. The order of his posting was issued on Saturday late night. Makwana will replace DGP Sudhir Kumar Saxena, who is retiring on November 30. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav is going on a two-country tour from Sunday and the new DGP of the state has been decided before that. 1988 batch IPS Makwana is currently the head of police housing. Late on Saturday night, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department SN Mishra issued an order to make Makwana the DGP. The order said that Makwana was selected in the selection committee meeting of the Union Public Service Commission on November 21. Three names were being considered for the DGP in the state, including Housing Board Chairman Makwana and DG EOW. The names of Ajay Sharma and Home Guard DG Arvind Kumar were being mentioned prominently. Makwana was eventually given the responsibility. His tenure will last until 30 November 2026. Kailash Makwana is originally from Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh and has done BE and M.Tech from IIT. He has held the posts of Special DG of Lokayukta, Special DG of CID, ADG Narcotics, ADG Admin, ADG Secret Intelligence and ADG Probe. It is expected that Sudhir Kumar Saxena will retire on November 30 and Makwana will retire on December 1. Who will take charge. Before issuing the new DGP order on Saturday night, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a brief discussion with Makwana after which the appointment order was issued. भोपाल: मध्य प्रदेश के नए पुलिस महानिदेशक कैलाश मकवाना होंगे। उनकी पदस्थापना का आदेश शनिवार की देर रात को जारी किया गया। मकवाना 30 नवंबर को सेवानिवृत हो रहे डीजीपी सुधीर कुमार सक्सेना का स्थान लेंगे।मुख्यमंत्री डॉ मोहन यादव रविवार से दो देशों की यात्रा पर जा रहे हैं और उससे पहले राज्य के नए डीजीपी का फैसला हो गया है। वर्ष 1988 बैच के आईपीएस मकवाना वर्तमान में पुलिस हाउसिंग के अध्यक्ष है।शनिवार की देर रात को गृह विभाग के अपर मुख्य सचिव एस एन मिश्रा ने मकवाना को डीजीपी बनाए जाने का आदेश जारी किया। इस आदेश में कहा गया है कि 21 नवंबर को संघ लोक सेवा आयोग की चयन समिति की बैठक में मकवाना का चयन किया गया।राज्य में डीजीपी के लिए तीन नाम प्रमुखता से लिए जा रहे थे जिनमें हाउसिंग बोर्ड के चेयरमैन मकवाना के अलावा ईओडब्ल्यू के डीजी अजय शर्मा और होमगार्ड के डीजी अरविंद कुमार का नाम प्रमुखता से लिया जा रहा था। आखिरकार मकवाना को यह जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई।उनका कार्यकाल 30 नवंबर 2026 तक रहेगा। कैलाश मकवाना मूल रूप से मध्य प्रदेश के उज्जैन जिले के निवासी हैं और उन्होंने बीई और आईआईटी से एमटेक किया है। वे लोकायुक्त के स्पेशल डीजी के अलावा सीआईडी के स्पेशल डीजी, एडीजी नारकोटिक्स, एडीजी एडमिन, एडीजी गुप्त वार्ता और एडीजी प्रबंध के पद पर रह चुके हैं।संभावना जताई जा रही है कि 30 नवंबर को सुधीर कुमार सक्सेना सेवानिवृत हो जाएंगे और मकवाना एक दिसंबर को अपना कार्यभार संभाल लेंगे। शनिवार की रात को नए डीजीपी का आदेश जारी होने से पहले मुख्यमंत्री डॉ यादव ने मकवाना से कुछ देर चर्चा की और उसके बाद पदस्थापना का आदेश जारी किया गया।मुख्यमंत्री यादव छह दिवसीय विदेश यात्रा पर रविवार को रवाना हो रहे हैं और इस यात्रा के दौरान ही डीजीपी सक्सेना सेवानिवृत होने वाले थे लिहाजा यात्रा से पहले नए डीजीपी के नाम का फैसला जरूरी था।
