2nd Day of the Workshop on Scientific Writing, Research Integrity & Publication Ethics at State Unani Medical College and Hospital, Prayagraj
The second day of the ongoing “Workshop on Scientific Writing, Research Integrity & Publication Ethics” for PG Guides of Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha Colleges organised by the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine, New Delhi which is being hosted by the State Unani Medical College and Hospital successfully concluded on 25.06.2024. Approximately 60 participants who came from different Unani Medical Colleges across the country actively engaged in discussions with the master trainers.
Second day compromised of eight scientific sessions. In the first and second session Dr. Zakir Ali Maqbool Ahmad Khan, Assistant Professor, ZVM Unani Medical College, Pune, delivered lectures on the topics of “Essential Components of Research Articles” and “Drafting drug research based original Articles”.
In the 3rd and 4th session, Dr. Muhammed Sheeraz from Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, delivered lectures on “Drafting Literary Research Articles” and “Tips for translating Thesis into Articles”.
Dr. Wasim Ahmad, Principal of SUMCH and the Organizing Chairman of the workshop who is also the Young Scientist Awardee, explained “Reporting Guidelines” in the 5th session and also discussed about “Writing a Review” in the sixth session. In the last two sessions, Dr. Fahmeeda Zeenat, Assistant Professor, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, discussed “Case Report/Case Series” and also talked about “Research Integrity and Publication Ethics and Scientific misconduct.
At the end of each session, the Master Trainers were awarded with certificates and mementos.
The day ended with the trainees providing their feedback through AYUSH Grid.
