Azamgarh police launched a major operation against 8 criminals in Badar district

Azamgarh: The action against criminals in the district on the direction of Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya with the aim of controlling crime and curbing professional criminals has had the effect that all professional thugs are now going underground for fear of the law comes. Police are taking strict action against criminals who create an atmosphere of terror and fear among the general public to earn material gain. In the same vein, police on Saturday submitted the investigation report on eight professional thugs banned under the Gunda Act to the district administration. The administration has ordered the dismissal of all the criminals identified on the basis of the report. The expelled criminals are said to be notorious for murder, rape, cow slaughter and other crimes. The district magistrate has sentenced them to stay out of the district for six months. The notorious criminals against whom the action has been taken are Belal son of Mufeed alias Mr., Mohammad Nazim son of Mahmood and Shahzad son of Mohammad Nazim, all residents of village Kauria Subedar alias Surendra Yadav son of Dilram of Rowan village of Rani Ki Sarai police station, Salauddin alias Raju son of Rohit of Chhataur Kadasar of Jahanaganj police station, Vishal son of Rajdev Yadav of Bachwal village of Mehnagar police station, Omprakash Yadav alias Bhunwar son of Gulab Yadav of Naubarar Dewara Jadeed of Maharajganj police station and Shamsh Alam son of Fakhre Alam, residents of village Dubanwa, Thana Didarganj.
