A gas cylinder delivery vehicle ran over an elderly woman, killing her on the spot

Azamgarh:Sharda, wife of Ram Prabhakar Mishra, aged about 60 years, a resident of Bhawanipur village in Atraulia police station area of ​​Azamgarh district, was run over by a pick-up vehicle driver who came to deliver gas cylinders. Let it be known that the pick-up vehicle of Beila Gas Agency went to deliver gas cylinders in Bhanipur village. There was a pooja at Sarada’s house. She was returning by giving water. It is alleged that during this time the driver of the pickup vehicle started backing up the pickup. In which the pickup climbed over Sarada. Due to this, his entire body was exposed and he died on the spot. When she did not return home even after a long delay, the family members started searching and saw that her body was lying at a short distance from the house. The family members immediately rushed him to the multi-bed hospital in Atraulia where doctors declared him brought dead. On receiving the information, the police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem and started legal action. Police station head Virendra Kumar Singh said that a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint received and legal action is being taken.
