Bihar: Celebratory firing at a wedding ceremony took the life of a young man, mourning spreads

In this episode, the joy of a wedding ceremony in Sare police station area of ​​​​Nalanda district turned into mourning when a young man died in celebratory firing during the garland ceremony. Actually, this entire incident is of Nerut village of Sare police station area. It was told that the wedding procession of Shankar Kumar, son of Jwala Mahato of Barhog village, reached Nerut village late on Wednesday night. After the arrival of the wedding procession, it was welcomed with traditional customs. During this time, everyone was excited about the marriage. It was told that when the ritual of garland ceremony started, some youths started firing indiscriminately. Meanwhile, a bullet hit Triloki Kumar (28) standing near the pavilion in the back. After being shot, the youth was rushed to a private clinic in Bihar Sharif for treatment where doctors declared him dead. After the death of the youth, the villagers returned to the village with the body. As soon as the news of the youth’s death was received, the family members accused the police of murder and informed them about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the village and took the body into their custody and took it to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Deputy Superintendent of Police of Bihar Sharif (Sadar) Nurul Haq said on Thursday that the matter is being investigated. The accused involved in the incident is being identified. Prima facie, the case is being reported as the death of the youth due to bullet injury in celebratory firing. Investigation is being done on all points. Legal action will be taken against both the family members.
