जबलपुर के लार्डगंज थाना क्षेत्र स्थित गढ़ाफाटक रामनगर में शनिवार की रात एक किराए के मकान में भारी मात्रा में नशे की गोलियाँ व प्रतिबंधित सिरप का स्टॉक करके रखे जाने की सूचना पर पुलिस ने छापेमारी की। छापे के दौरान पुलिस ने दो लोगों को पकड़ लिया। प्रारंभिक जाँच में आरोपियों द्वारा नशा करने वालों को नशे की गोलियाँ व सिरप बेचे जाने का पता चला है। देर रात तक आरोपियों से पूछताछ कर मामला दर्ज किया गया है।जानकारी देते हुए चौकी प्रभारी सतीश झरिया में ने बताया कि मुखबिर से सूचना मिली थी कि गढ़ाफाटक रामनगर स्थित चिंटू साहू के मकान में भारी मात्रा में नशे की गोलियाँ व सिरप का स्टॉक करके रखा गया है। सूचना की तस्दीक कर पुलिस टीम ने मकान में छापेमारी की तो वहाँ पर शीतलामाई निवासी विक्की चौधरी और हनुमानताल निवासी विनोद कोरी मिले, पूछताछ करने पर उन्होंने मकान किराए से लेना बताया, मकान की जाँच के दौरान 25 पेटी प्रतिबंधित सिरप व 30 हजार से अधिक नशे की गोलियाँ मिलीं, जिनके दस्तावेज माँगे जाने पर उनके द्वारा कोई दस्तावेज पेश नहीं किए गए। प्रारंभिक जाँच में स्टॉक कर रखी गईं प्रतिबंधित सिरप की पेटियाँ व नशे की गोलियाँ नशा करने वालों को बेचे जाने की आशंका नजर आने पर दोनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर माल जब्त किया गया है। वहीं आरोपियों से पूछताछ कर यह पता लगाया जा रहा है कि वे प्रतिबंधित सिरप व नशे की गोलियाँ कहाँ से लाते थे और किसे बेचते थे। इस पूरी कार्यवाही में अहम भूमिका रही क्राइम ब्रांच के सहायक ओप निरीक्षक कैलाश मिश्रा अजय पांडे शेषनारायण प्रधान रक्षक संजय मिश्रा रक्षक मोहम्मद इस्माइल अजय दीक्षित,
