गाजीपुर:मुठभेड़ में घायल तीन चोर गिरफ्तार
Ghazipur. A joint team of Jangipur police station and Sadar Kotwali police arrested a notorious burglar in an encounter in an injured state and succeeded in arresting three other burglars. The police recovered from their possession a pistol of .315 bore, two fired cartridges of .315 bore, tools used during theft, a gold chain, half a dozen Mangalsutras, gold nose rings, 12 pairs of silver anklets, seven pairs of silver toe rings, toe rings and stolen cash worth Rs 38227 and a brass temple bell, a dozen packets of cigarettes. A Toto UP 61 BT 1456 and a motorcycle UP 61 BA 0980 were also recovered from their possession. It was told that on Tuesday, the SHO Jangipur and the Inspector in charge of Kotwali Sadar along with the police team were present at Tajpur turn, when the informer informed that some suspicious persons/burglars were present in the closed old school in Devkathiya. On this information, the SHO Jangipur and the Inspector in charge of Kotwali along with the team reached the spot with caution and caught four persons present there and strictly interrogated them. The arrested persons admitted to committing incidents of theft by roaming around in the areas of Police Station Jangipur, Police Station Kotwali and Police Station Shadiabad of Ghazipur district and doing recce and said that we have distributed the stolen goods and the money of some sold goods and the cash obtained in the theft today itself. On searching, cash and jewellery were recovered from the above four. At the same time, one of the accused/burglar said that the bell stolen from the temple was recovered in the Kashiram Awas building under construction in front. Believing this, the police team took him along and reached the spot and recovered the bell. At the same time, accused Vishnu Kashyap, son of Shiv Shankar Kashyap, took out the illegal weapon that he had hidden earlier and fired at the police team and taking advantage of the situation, ran towards the bushes near the nearby ruins. Seeing this, the police team, while protecting themselves, asked the said accused to surrender, then the accused again fired at the police team. The police fired in a balanced counter action in self-defense. The police bullet hit the criminal's right leg and the police caught him.

गाज़ीपुर। थाना जंगीपुर व सदर कोतवाली पुलिस की सयुंक्त टीम ने एक शातिर नकबजन को मुठभेड़ में घायलावस्था में गिरफ्तार करते हुए अन्य तीन नकबजनों को गिरफ्तार करने में सफलता पायी है। उनके कब्जे से पुलिस ने एक तमंचा .315 बोर, दो फायरशुदा खोखा .315 बोर, चोरी के दौरान उपयोग में आने वाले उपकरण,एक सोने की चैन,आधा दर्जन मंगलसूत्र, सोने की नाथिया, चांदी की पायल 12 जोड़ी, चांदी की बिछिया सात जोड़ा, पाजेब तथा चोरी किया गया 38227 नगद रुपए और पीतल का मंदिर घंटा, सिगरेट का एक दर्जन पैकेट बरामद किया गया। वहीं उनके कब्जे से एक टोटो यूपी 61 बीटी 1456 व मोटरसाइकिल यूपी 61बी ए 0980 भी बरामद किया गया.
बताया गया कि मंगलवार को थानाध्यक्ष जंगीपुर व प्रभारी निरीक्षक कोतवाली सदर मय पुलिस टीम ताजपुर मोड़ पर मौजूद थे, तभी मुखबिर द्वारा कुछ संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों /नकबजनों की देवकठिया में बंद पड़े पुराने विद्यालय में मौजूद होने की सूचना दी गयी। इस सूचना पर थानाध्यक्ष जंगीपुर व प्रभारी निरीक्षक कोतवाली मय टीम सतर्कता के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और वहां मौजूद चार व्यक्तियों को पकड़कर कड़ाई से पूछताछ किया गिरफ्तार व्यक्तियों ने जनपद ग़ाज़ीपुर के थाना जंगीपुर, थाना कोतवाली व थाना शादियाबाद क्षेत्र में घूम घूमकर रेकी कर चोरी की घटनाओं को कारित करना स्वीकार करते हुए चोरी किये गये माल तथा कुछ बेचे गए माल का पैसा तथा चोरी में प्राप्त कैश को हम लोगों आज ही बांटा है। तलाशी लेने पर उक्त चारों के पास से कैश व जेवरात बरामद हुआ। वहीं उनमें से एक अभियुक्त/नकबजन द्वारा मंदिर से चोरी किए गए घंटे को सामने ही मौजूद निर्माणधीन काशीराम आवास बिल्डिंग में बरामद करने की बात कही। इस बात पर विश्वास कर पुलिस टीम उसे साथ लेकर मौके पर पहुंच कर घंटे की बरामद कर लिया। उसी दौरान अभियुक्त विष्णु कश्यप पुत्र शिव शंकर कश्यप ने पूर्व से छुपा कर रखे हुए अवैध असलहे को निकालकर पुलिस टीम पर फायर कर दिया और मौके का फायदा उठाकर पास के खंडहर के पास की झाड़ी की ओर भागा। यह देखकर पुलिस टीम खुद को सुरक्षित करते हुए उक्त अभियुक्त को आत्मसमर्पण हेतु कहा तो अभियुक्त द्वारा पुलिस टीम पर पुनः फायर किया गया। आत्मरक्षार्थ संतुलित जवाबी कार्यावाही में पुलिस द्वारा फायर किया गया। पुलिस की गोली बदमाश के दाहिने पैर में लगी और पुलिस ने उसे दबोच लिया। उसको प्राथमिक उपचार हेतु जिला अस्पताल ग़ाज़ीपुर भेजा गया। बरामदगी के आधार पर विधिक कार्यवाही की गयी।गिरफ्तार घायल अभियुक्त विष्णु कश्यप पुत्र शिव शंकर कश्यप पता कलक्टर घाट थाना कोतवाली जनपद गाजीपुर पर ग्यारह अपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं। वहीं अन्य अभियुक्तों में इम्तियाज़ पुत्र दील मोहम्मद सलमानी निवासी वार्ड न 9 गंज मोहल्ला थाना जंगीपुर जनपद गाजीपुर, शाहिद खान पुत्र कमाल खान उर्फ कल्लू निवासी आदर्श गांव काशीराम आवास थाना कोतवाली जनपद गाजीपुर तथा राजा उर्फ राज खान पुत्र राजू खान ग्राम मियापुरा थाना कोतवाली जनपद ग़ाज़ीपुर रहे।
