A Decade of Devotion and Cultural Harmony*: *Creative Connection Trust and King’s Entertainment Celebrate the 10th Lokhandwala Baisakhi Utsav / Poila Boishakh 2025

Mumbai:In a radiant confluence of culture, compassion, and community spirit, *Creative Connection Trust, in collaboration with King’s Entertainment, commemorated the 10th edition of the Lokhandwala Baisakhi Utsav / Poila Boishakh 2025 with grace and grandeur*. This milestone celebration marked not just the Bengali New Year, Poila Boishakh, and the vibrant Punjabi harvest festival, Baisakhi, but also ten years of nurturing unity in diversity.

The occasion was sanctified by the esteemed presence of – *Somu Mitra, Shweta Khanduri, Sahil Sultanpuri, Rinku Giri, krishnendu sen, Alexx O’Nell, Rajesh Puri, Shubodeep, Rohit roy, Nandita Puri & Many More* whose blessings and goodwill added gravitas to the spiritually infused atmosphere.

The Special Achiever’s Awards were bestowed upon acclaimed actor *Chandan Roy Sanyal, veteran television icon Rajesh Puri, and celebrated singer Sandeep Das Chowdhury of Indian Idol fame*. *The Achiever’s Awards celebrated the accomplishments of inspirational personalities including Poonam Nehra, Sahil Sultanpuri, Sonika Gill, Toshi Sanjay, Dr. Yogesh Lakhani, and the dynamic Mohara Jai Maa Pahad Chandi Chhau Nritya Team from Purulia, whose folk performance brought a spiritual and cultural vibrancy to the festivities*. The evening also featured mesmerizing *special performances by the graceful Urvashi Jaitley, the soulful Prashant Kharat, and the energetic Deepak Kairner*.

One of the most enthralling highlights of the evening was the premiere of the ‘Chhau’ dance performance in Mumbai—a majestic and semi-classical folk expression from the mystical land of Purulia, West Bengal. With performances by Mohara Joi Maa and Pahaad Chandi Chhau Nritya, the ancient art form painted stories of divinity and valour, leaving the audience mesmerized in spiritual awe.

The evening also unfolded with a captivating skit performance titled “Ami Ekhono Mori Ni Re,” a poignant and humorous adaptation based on Rabindranath Thakur’s Hashyokoutuk. Written and directed by the talented Swati Chatterjee, the ensemble cast included Somu Mitra, Anurag Maurya, Swati Chatterjee, Amiya Karmokar, Nanditiaa Banerjee, Madhumita Ghosh, Anindita Banerjee, Sulagna Banerjee, Nandita Bandyopadhyay, and Manabrndra Bagchi — brought the narrative to life with heartfelt performances, earning admiration and applause from the audience.
