गुजरात के मेहसाणा में 4.2 तीव्रता का भूकंप
Mehsana (Gujarat): A 4.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Gujarat's Mehsana district on Friday night. The Institute of Earthquake Science Research (ISR) gave this information. Officials of the Gandhinagar-based state control room said that people came out of their homes after the tremors were felt, but there was no report of any loss of life or property in the area. Gandhinagar-based ISR said the earthquake was recorded at 10:15 pm and its epicenter was located 13 km south-west of Patan. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter was located in Mehsana area at latitude 23.71 N and longitude 72.30 E. At a depth of 10 km. This place was about 219 km north-east of Rajkot in Gujarat. Its epicenter was also located 13 km south-south-west of Patan. According to the information received from the northern districts of Banaskantha, Patan, Sabarkantha and Mehsana, the earthquake tremors were felt for two to three seconds. According to data provided by the authority (GSDMA), the state has experienced nine major earthquakes in the last 200 years, including the devastating January 26, 2001 earthquake in Kutch district. Earthquake tremors were felt in the beginning. Then on the morning of November 3, there was an earthquake of magnitude 3.4, whose epicenter was 53 kilometers north-northeast of Lakhpat. A few days before this, on October 27, an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 occurred in Amreli district of Saurashtra region of the state.
मेहसाणा (गुजरात):। गुजरात के मेहसाणा जिले में शुक्रवार रात 4.2 तीव्रता का भूकंप दर्ज किया गया। भूकंप विज्ञान अनुसंधान संस्थान (आईएसआर) ने यह जानकारी दी।गांधीनगर स्थित राज्य नियंत्रण कक्ष के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि भूकंप की हलचल महसूस होने के बाद लोग अपने घरों से बाहर निकल आए, लेकिन इलाके में किसी प्रकार के जानमाल के नुकसान की खबर नहीं है।गांधीनगर स्थित आईएसआर ने बताया कि भूकंप रात 10:15 बजे दर्ज किया गया और इसका केंद्र पाटन से 13 किलोमीटर दक्षिण-पश्चिम में स्थित था।नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सीस्मोलॉजी के अनुसार, भूकंप का केंद्र मेहसाणा क्षेत्र में अक्षांश 23.71 एन और देशांतर 72.30 ई पर 10 किमी की गहराई पर था। यह स्थान गुजरात के राजकोट से लगभग 219 किमी उत्तर-पूर्व में था। इसका केंद्र भी पाटन से 13 किमी दक्षिण-दक्षिण-पश्चिम में स्थित था।बनासकांठा, पाटन, साबरकांठा और मेहसाणा के उत्तरी जिलों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार भूकंप के झटके दो से तीन सेकंड तक महसूस किये गये।बता दें कि गुजरात राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (जीएसडीएमए) द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए गए आंकड़ों के अनुसार, पिछले 200 वर्षों में राज्य को नौ बड़े भूकंपों का सामना करना पड़ा है, जिसमें कच्छ जिले में 26 जनवरी, 2001 का विनाशकारी भूकंप भी शामिल है।गुजरात के कच्छ जिले में भी इस महीने की शुरुआत में भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए थे। तब 3 नवंबर को सुबह 3.4 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया था, जिसका केंद्र लखपत से 53 किलोमीटर उत्तर-उत्तर पूर्व में था। इससे कुछ दिन पहले 27 अक्टूबर को राज्य के सौराष्ट्र क्षेत्र के अमरेली जिले में 3.7 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया था। दोनों ही मामलों में भूकंपीय गतिविधि के कारण किसी तरह की जान-माल की हानि की खबर नहीं आई।गुजरात में भूकंप के झटके अक्सर आते रहते हैं और राज्य में भूकंप का जोखिम हमेशा बना रहता है। तटीय राज्य में 2001 में 6.9 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया था। जिसमें हजारों लोग मारे गए थे और पूरा क्षेत्र प्रभावित हुआ था।जीएसडीएमए के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, इसमें करीब 13,800 लोग मारे गए थे और 1.67 लाख लोग घायल हुए थे।
